Avatara literally means the descent of the Gods to the material world. Sankalpam created this production, comprising of three distinctive pieces to lend a fresh dimension to classical Indian theatre. Live music provided a rich backdrop, performed by acclaimed Jazz saxophonist Ian Ballamy and master percussionist Karaikudi Krishnamurthi.
