During lockdown, Vidya and I collaborated on Voices from the Kiln, extending our exploration of clay and dance to include text and film with live performance. An ever-present potter’s wheel drove this vivid, visceral work as a living installation. The solo unearths fragments of lives, both real and imagined, leaving their imprint on clay and the human body. The project was supported by Arts Asia, Certain Blacks, Farnham Maltings, and Arts Council England.
